Our Difference
At Keogh Cox, positive outcomes start long before a case reaches the courtroom. They start with the people we hire, the standards we set, and the way we work together every day.
Our approach has never been about rigid structures. It’s about assembling the right mix of experience, judgment, and work ethic, then giving people the space to grow and contribute in meaningful ways. If you’re looking for a place where your work is valued and your role matters, we’d like to hear from you.

A Practice That Grows With You
Attorneys at Keogh Cox are encouraged to shape a practice that reflects their strengths and interests. Unlike firms divided into narrow silos, we operate collaboratively—allowing lawyers to gain broad experience while still developing depth in their chosen areas of practice.
Whether joining us as an associate or a lateral partner, attorneys here are trusted with real responsibility and real client relationships. The expectation is simple: do the work well, stay responsive, and contribute to the firm as a whole.
Associates
Our associate attorneys are paired with a mentor to support the transition from law school into active practice. From early on, associates gain hands-on exposure to client interaction, discovery, motion practice, and courtroom work.
Compensation is competitive, with structured opportunities for growth as your practice develops. While many of our associates began as law clerks, we regularly hire qualified candidates from outside the firm.
Lateral Partners
We seek experienced attorneys who are looking for a long-term professional home. While an established book of business is important, fit matters more. We value mutual trust, shared standards, and a collaborative mindset.
Our goal is not rapid expansion—it’s durable relationships that strengthen the firm over time.
The Foundation
Keogh Cox has long believed that a successful firm is built by more than its attorneys. Our staff plays a critical role in the quality, consistency, and care clients experience every day.
Many team members have spent decades with the firm, a reflection of our commitment to stability, respect, and long-term growth. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k), along with regular performance reviews and opportunities to advance.
Current roles may include legal secretaries, paralegals, and administrative support.
Early Exposure, Real Experience
Law clerks at Keogh Cox are treated as meaningful contributors to the work of the firm. Clerks gain firsthand experience with motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, while benefiting from an open-door culture that encourages questions and collaboration.
Many of our partners began their careers here as clerks. Weekly luncheons and regular interaction with attorneys across the firm provide valuable perspective on both the practice of law and the profession as a whole.
